What we ask for
All fields must be filled in, except those marked optional in the form.
1. Navigational warning
- Location (required): Mark the deviation on the map. You can also use your device's GPS position. If there are navigation installations nearby, you can link the warning to one of them.
- Time of observation (required): The date and time you saw the deviation.
- Category (required): Drifting objects, extinguished, off position, wrecked, irregular or other.
- Details (required): A description of what you observed. For an extinguished light, it helps to know whether it was dark enough for the light to be on, and whether it could be covered by snow or birds. For drifting objects, tell us whether they are a hazard to shipping and whether you are able to remove them.
- Other relevant attachments (optional): Photos or documents in PDF, JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB per file.
2. Contact information
- Full name (required): Up to 100 characters.
- Phone (required): A Norwegian eight-digit number, or a foreign number starting with its country code, for example +46. The navigational warning service (NAVCO) uses it if they need to reach you.
- Email (optional): If you provide an email address, you will receive a receipt with a case reference.
3. Review
You check your information before submitting.
