Grants for construction or improvement

This document was generated with AI to make it easier to keep the documentation up to date. The text has been reviewed by a human.

Use this form to apply, on behalf of a municipality, for a grant for construction or improvement in a municipal fishing port. You can apply for grants for fixed and floating quays, wave dampers, breakwaters and dredging in new or existing port areas.

Go to the form (in Norwegian)

Before you start

  • You do not need to log in.
  • The form itself is only available in Norwegian (Bokmål and Nynorsk). Switch language at the top of the page to fill it in. Below, each field is given with its Norwegian label first and an English translation in brackets.
  • Municipalities and municipal port authorities can apply for grants for fishing port measures.
  • Applications open every year in December or January. The deadline is 1 March.
  • Check whether your measure is eligible by reading the guidelines for grants for municipal fishing port measures (PDF, in Norwegian).
  • Do not submit sensitive information or documents exempt from public disclosure here. Use eDialog instead.
  • Before submitting, you must confirm that you understand the conditions for receiving a grant:

    • The grant can only be given to municipalities in Norway and must be used for fishing port measures. The design must follow current regulations and Norwegian standards.
    • Facilities built with a state grant must be owned by the municipality and be publicly accessible in line with the purpose of the construction.
    • The projects must not give individual users exclusive rights.
    • The measure must be completed and a final report submitted within the set deadlines.

The application is extensive. It is a good idea to have your project texts, statistics for the last three years, cost estimates per measure, and drawings and zoning maps as files ready before you start.
